Learn French

You are a beginner (levels A0, A1 and A2) and you don't dare to speak french: I will help you gain self-confidence. You will easily acquire the basics of the French language to express yourself correctly in everyday life.
You have an intermediate or advanced level (levels B1, B2, C1 and C2) and you want to improve your skills to live, study, work and/or travel in a French-speaking country: I will teach you the subtleties of the French language. You will develop your lexicon in the areas that concern you while easily handling the syntax orally and in writing.
You first online French lesson is no charge. My personalized lessons are mainely one to one, but I can organize as well lessons in small groups with your friends, collegues or family. They will allow you to speak well, to express yourself correctly and to make yourself understood by French people. You will be able to read French newspapers, to listen to the radio, to watch TV and movies, and even participate in work meetings or workshops, send emails to your French-speaking colleagues, write professional reports if necessary for you. You will develop a good syntax to communicate easily and efficiently.

You will receive clear and precise thematic sheets accompanied by exercises adapted to your level, your pace of leanrning and your objectives. You determine the frequency (minimum once a week) and duration (minimum 30 minutes) of your French lessons. You choose the formula best suited to your availability. Isabelle is a wonderful teacher! I am planning a trip to France. I have taken French classes in the past, but I have forgotten much of it because I have had little opportunity to use it over the years. Isabelle is absolutely fantastic. Not only is she a native French speaker, she also has superb knowledge of grammar, phonetics and writing skills. She is patient, she takes the time to get to know her pupils and understand their interests and objectives and tailor the lessons to make them as personalised as possible. The cherry on top of the cake, she has the best and clearest set of grammar help-sheets I have ever come across, so good it is actually fun to learn with them!

I have been learning french with Isabelle for over 3 months, taking 3 lessons a week. She is very thoughtful, kind and extremely well prepared. I am moving to Paris for work at the end of January and Isabelle has been helping me get my french level up to B1, as I will be entering a 1 month language intensive on arrival. I was very nervous for this step up, but have been building my confidence after each session and appreciate the progress I have made under her direction. Every lesson either has an exercise, or a topic of conversation and there is never a dull moment.
